In
Northwest Africa, CWP Global is developing 30 GW of wind & solar in
Mauritania (the AMAN project), and 15 GW of wind & solar in Morocco (AMUN
project), with both projects focused on renewable ammonia production.
SYSTEMIQ partners with business, finance, policy-makers, and civil
society to achieve sustainable and equitable redesign of markets and
value chains. In this light, it has studied how GW-scale renewables
can aid the social-economic development of Mauritania. To explore the
opportunities on offer, Nouri Chahid (General Manager Morocco &
